What is Service charge?
A service charge is a percentage or fixed amount added to a bill for service, usually shared among the staff afterwards. It is set by the restaurant, unlike a tip, which the guest chooses.
In Bhookly, the owner sets the service charge once and a cashier can override it, as a percentage or an amount, for a single bill. The Z report shows the service-charge split per waiter, which is the sheet restaurants use to pay it out, and the staff report shows each waiter's share.
