A free QR menu for your restaurant
Photograph your paper menu. In about five minutes you get a digital menu at its own address, a QR code for your tables, and a score with the first things to fix. Free, no catch.
Up to 6 photos, or one PDF of up to 10 pages and 4 MB. One page per photo, flat, in good light.
What you get
Three things, all free, from one set of photos.
- Your menu as a web page
- Every section, item and price we read, checked and corrected by you before it goes up. It lives at its own bhookly.com address, opens on any phone, and carries a small “Powered by Bhookly” badge.
- A QR code for your tables
- A printable card with your restaurant’s name and the QR code that opens the menu. Print it, stand it on the table, and stop reprinting paper menus every time a price changes.
- A score and the first things to fix
- A score out of 100 for how clearly the menu answers a customer’s questions, and the fixes that would raise it most. The checks are listed below.
The score, and what it measures
13 checks in 5 parts: prices, structure, descriptions, readability and basics, adding up to 100. The score measures one thing: what a customer can find out from your menu without asking anyone.

An AI model reads your menu from the photos, and every check works on what it read. If it misreads a line, the score is wrong for that line. You can correct the menu after you unlock the report.
When every check applies, 52 of the 100 points come from checks that are counted by rule from what is printed on the menu, such as whether every item has a price.
The other 48 points come from checks that rest on the AI's judgement of each item: "Every deal or combo says what it includes" (8), "A dish whose name does not say what it is has a description" (12), "Shared dishes state a portion" (8), "Every item can be read clearly" (14), "The same word is spelled the same way throughout" (6). Another reading of the same menu could judge these differently.
Points are lost in proportion to the items concerned. A check that does not apply to your menu is left out, and a part with nothing to check is not counted, so a menu is never marked down for something it does not have.
Readability depends on the photo as well as the print. A blurred or dark photo lowers it. For a fair score, take one page per photo, flat, in good light.
The score does not compare your menu with other restaurants, and it does not judge your prices, your food or your design.
Things people usually ask us.
Still have a question? Message us and we reply the same day.
Is the digital menu really free?
Yes. The menu, its address and its QR code are free for as long as you use them. The menu carries a small "Powered by Bhookly" badge. You can take it down at any time.
How long does it take?
About five minutes. Photograph the menu, wait a minute while it is read, check the names and prices, and publish. The QR card is ready to print straight away.
What if it reads something wrong?
You check the menu before anything is published. Every name, price, size and section can be corrected, and lines that were hard to read are marked so you can look at those first. Nothing is published until you confirm it.
Can I change the menu later?
Yes. Open the page where you published it, change what you need, and publish again. The address and the QR code stay the same, so nothing has to be reprinted.
Can customers order from the free menu?
No. The free menu is for reading. To take orders and payments on it, Bhookly's branded ordering website is live on the Starter plan, from Rs 10,000 a month, and is set up in about an hour.
Why do you ask for my WhatsApp number and email?
The menu and the full report go to the person responsible for the restaurant, so we confirm it is you with a one-time code, sent to your WhatsApp or your email. We use these to send your menu link and your report, and to offer help.
What happens to my photos?
They are stored privately and used only to read your menu. They are deleted 30 days after you upload them. The menu we read from them is kept, so your digital menu keeps working.
What does the score check?
It runs 13 checks in 5 parts: prices, structure, descriptions, readability and basics. Every check asks the same question: can a customer find this out from the menu without asking anyone? Each check is listed on this page with what it is worth.
How is the score worked out?
Every check has a weight, and points are lost in proportion. If 3 of 40 items have no price, that check loses 3 fortieths of its points. A check that does not apply to your menu, such as the one for deals on a menu with no deals, is left out rather than counted against you.
