This Privacy Policy explains how Bhookly collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services. We keep it plain and we keep your data yours.

Information we collect

When you book a demo or contact us, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, restaurant name, email, WhatsApp number, city and any message.

When you use our website, we collect basic analytics such as pages visited and device type, to improve the site.

The restaurant grader

When you scan a restaurant with our grader, we read public information about it: its Google Business Profile, its position in Google search results, Google's speed test, and its website as any visitor sees it. We do not log in to any account and we do not collect anything that is not already public.

To unlock a full report we ask for your WhatsApp number, your name, your link to the restaurant, a range for its monthly sales and, if you choose, your email. We confirm the number with a one-time code sent over WhatsApp. We use these details to send your report and to offer help with what it found.

Scans and reports are deleted 30 days after they are made. Your contact details are kept as described below, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

The free QR menu and menu grader

When you use our free QR menu tool, you upload photos or a PDF of your restaurant's menu. They are stored privately and sent to an AI service, which reads the items and prices from them. We use them for nothing else.

Your photos are deleted 30 days after you upload them. The menu we read from them is kept, so that your digital menu and your report keep working.

To publish a digital menu and unlock the full report we ask for your WhatsApp number, your email, your name and your restaurant's name, and, if you choose, your city. We confirm it is you with a one-time code, sent to your WhatsApp or your email. We use these details to send your menu link and your report, and to offer help.

A menu you publish is public at its own address. It shows your restaurant's name and the items and prices you confirmed, and nothing about you. It is not offered to search engines. You can take it down at any time from the page where you published it, or by asking us.

Anyone can report a published menu to us. If they leave a contact detail, we use it only to reply to that report.

The website preview

When you make a website preview, we read public information about the restaurant from its Google Business Profile: its name, photos, opening hours, rating and reviews. We do not log in to any account and we do not collect anything that is not already public.

A preview can be opened only by someone who has its link. It is not listed anywhere and search engines are told not to index it. Ordering is switched off in a preview.

To keep a preview, or to ask us to make it your real website, we ask for your WhatsApp number, your name and, if you choose, your email. We confirm the number with a one-time code sent over WhatsApp. We use these details to send you the link and to talk to you about your website.

Previews are deleted 30 days after the information was read from Google. Your contact details are kept as described below, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

The opening cost calculator

The calculator works in your browser. The figures you type are kept in the page's address, so you can share a result. We do not store them unless you ask for the full budget plan.

When you ask for the full budget plan, we save the city, the kind of restaurant, the size and the figures you entered, so the plan can be shown and printed. To unlock it we ask for your WhatsApp number and your name and, if you choose, your restaurant's name and your email. We confirm the number with a one-time code sent over WhatsApp. We use these details to send your plan and to offer help with choosing your systems before you open.

A saved plan is deleted 90 days after it is made. Your contact details are kept as described below, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

How we use information

We use your contact details to respond to your enquiry, book your demo, and provide our services. We may send you relevant updates, which you can opt out of at any time.

We do not sell your personal data. Customer data you manage inside Bhookly belongs to you.

Data storage and security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted on a need-to-know basis. We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing communications.
