What is KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket)?

A KOT, or Kitchen Order Ticket, is the printed slip sent to the kitchen when an order is placed, telling the cooks what to prepare. Many restaurants run on KOT printing, a kitchen display, or a mix of the two.

Bhookly works as a KOT printing system, a full kitchen display, or a mix chosen per station. Each station prints silently on its own printer and paper width. The slip has a large quantity column, options on their own lines and flagged notes, and a voided item prints "DO NOT MAKE" at the station that holds the ticket.
