What is FEFO (first expired, first out)?
FEFO stands for first expired, first out: the stock with the earliest expiry date is used before anything else, whenever it was delivered. It is the standard rule for perishable food.
Bhookly gives each delivery its own expiry date and always uses the earliest first. Alerts show the money at risk before stock expires, and an expired batch is written off at what that batch actually cost, so spoilage is counted as a loss.
