Which printers does Bhookly work with?
Bhookly prints receipts and kitchen tickets on thermal printers connected by USB or over the network. The Windows desktop app prints silently with a printer per station, and the Android app for waiters prints directly to network printers.
Do I need a printer for the waiters' tablets?
No. In Bhookly a waiter's tablet can queue its ticket to the counter's desktop app, which prints it on the counter's USB printer.
Does Bhookly support a bump bar in the kitchen?
Yes. Bhookly's kitchen display is controlled by number keys, arrows and Enter, so an inexpensive USB bump bar or keyboard runs the board without a cook touching the screen with wet hands.
Can I use a barcode scanner with Bhookly?
Yes. Bhookly works with standard USB barcode scanners. The till finds an item by barcode whichever category is open, the storekeeper scans to find and count stock, and a guest's loyalty card can be scanned at the counter.
