What is Daily closing?
Daily closing, or day close, is the end-of-day process of checking a restaurant's recorded sales against the cash, card and online payments actually collected, to confirm the till matches and catch any shortfall.
Bhookly's guided day close counts cash, card and online one step at a time. Each step shows the working and a verdict: matches, short or over. Skipping a count is not allowed, a big difference needs a written note, and closing is blocked if food sent during an internet cut was never billed. The next day cannot start until this one is closed.
